Awesome!

While some parts may sound a bit repetitive, it doesn't seem that noticeable because of the change of instruments. The transitions were really good, and the instruments were very eastern. Really good job on this, judges won't have too hard of a decision

Phyrnna responds:

Yeah maybe... but with the time limit on the songs I didn't have room to expand any extra themes. I may do a longer remake of this though.
As for the instruments, the only Chinese ones in there were the Guzheng, the Pipa, and the Erhu. Most of the instruments were western as all the others used were the piccolo, flute, violin, viola, cello, and timpani.

hrm

Defiantly good, my first song I made sucked. I can't really tell what's going on with the instruments. It seems like they are kind of hitting random notes. I'd say work on it some more. If you want a more classical sound, I'd try the Aeolian, Harmonic minor, Major, or Phrygian scale.

Rob responds:

It's in C Major, though there's a couple chromatic notes in the second half. The reason it sounds crazy is I paid no attention to rhythm when I wrote it, which is not a good idea.

Awesome man

I love your Ambient music, it reminds me so much of Phantasy Star Online! I can't think of any flaws in this piece, so great job!

ReFreezed responds:

Why, thanks! ^^

Awesome!

Original, I really liked the uniqueness of this. I also think it's cool you changed up the notes in the song a bit, if I wanted to listen to the original notes, I'd listen to the original song. Sometimes I wish I could do cool electronic stuff like this.

Kepp it up!

ReFreezed responds:

Thanks a lot man! :)

pretty good

I liked the potential, and I know this would be awesome if the instruments were better. I say invest in some good VST's,m and maybe get a guitarist to do real guitar for you, and you'd have an awesome song.

Well, not the best

I'm prepared to take on the flames but I have to say that this song isn't anything great. It sounds really repetitive, boring, and way too many pauses in the beginning. Pauses are used in music to help the song, not just be there. To me it sounds like the pauses are pretentious. I think this needs a lot of work. And if this is a song from twilight, you need to give the author credits in your comment area.

broove responds:

Pauses are necessary in this song. I'm sure that many people will agree on that.
Maybe this kind of music just isn't meant for you.

Hmm...

I like the potential, the only thing I have to say is the recording quality isn't that good. Also, the part with the soloing guitar would sound a bit better if you changed it up a bit, because to me it sounds like a lot of the time you are just going up and down a pentatonic scale.

And personally, I don't think this is really says "theme song" yet. Great WIP though.

dude

this is awesome. Sounds like something that would be in Phantasy Star Online or EVE online. Great job, really impressed by all the little sounds and details you put into this.

ReFreezed responds:

Well, thank you!

kinda cool

but it's just all over the place. I don't see any structure in this song at all. Also, this doesn't really sound like a rock song, maybe a misc song.

P.S. I don't know if you meant to spell the word enhanced wrong or not, but it's wrong =P

pyrobunny9 responds:

Yeah, I kinda had trouble with finding a genre, but i threw it in here. And wow, I did not mean to misspell that. Thanks for catching that lol

nice song

The beginning sounds a lot like gangster paradise though lol.
